SPIRIT AWARDS 2012: les nominations!

Les nominations des Spirit Awards, qui priment les films indépendants américains, ont été dévoilées. De nombreux concurrents aux Oscars sont présents pour les nominations principales. The Artist fait coup double après son triomphe à New York et arrive en tête avec 5 nominations. Même score pour Take Shelter. Beginners, Drive, The Descendants et Martha Marcy May Marlene obtiennent 4 nominations.

Parmi les absents notables: pas de George Clooney dans la catégorie meilleur acteur. Pas de Glenn Close (Albert Nobbs) ou de Ellen Barkin (Another Happy Day), attendues dans la catégorie meilleure actrice. Pas de Minuit à Paris dans les catégories principales (2 nominations en second rôle masculin et photo). Et un love love love géant encore une fois pour The Artist: là où les règles semblent très strictes pour certains candidats (Shame est un film étranger, point barre), les votants ont jugé que le film de Michel Hazanavicius était suffisamment américain pour être éligible dans toutes les catégories. On aurait presque pu attendre, néanmoins, une nomination pour Bérénice Béjo. Celle-ci attendra peut-être. Les Spirit Awards seront décernés le 25 février, la veille des Oscars.
